The Foot Washing

This was a commissioned piece. A couple requestedd a bowl to use for a Foot Washing during their wedding ceremony.

Jesus falls the 3rd time

This piece was inspired when parishioners were invited to create an art piece for a Lenten art exhibition at our church. It was the third sculpture I had ever made, a labor of love for my Savior Jesus Christ.

Plate with grapes

This was my second work using clay. In raku firing, a process in which a piece is fired at a low temperature and then moved while hot to a closed container with combustible materials (as paper or sawdust) that ignite, a reaction occurs, creating colors and patterns in the pottery's surface. The grapes are merely an accessory - I didn't make them. Newberg, Oregon, USA, 2002
